THIS COMPETITION IS ONLY FOR EGYPTIAN ARTISTS. IF YOU ARE LIVING IN EGYPT OR  IF YOU ARE AN EGYPTIAN CITIZEN LIVING ABROAD YOU CAN SIGN UP TO THIS COMPETITION. FOR NON EGYPTIAN ARTISTS PLEASE CHECK THE COUNTRY CAKE STAR COMPETITIONS. IF YOUR COUNTRY IS NOT LISTED IN REPRESENTATIONS PAGE YOU CAN SIGN UP TO CAKE STAR INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION.

REGISTRATIONS OTHER THAN EGYPTIAN ARTISTS SHALL BE CONSIDERED TO BE DISQUALIFIED EVEN IF THE REGISTRATION FEE HAS BEEN PAID.

IT IS NOT ALLOWED TO USE THEMES THAT MAY INFRINGE COPYRIGHT. IF YOU WISH TO USE ANY THEME OR A CHARACTER WITH COPYRIGHT YOU MUST PROVIDE WRITTEN AUTHORIZATION OF THE COPYRIGHT OWNER TO THE CAKE STAR COMPETITION MANAGEMENT BY EMAIL.

THERE WILL BE NO VERBAL FEEDBACK WITH THE COMPETITOR. ONLY WRITTEN FEEDBACKS AND SCORE SHEETS WILL SEND TO THE COMPETITORS BY CAKE STAR AFTER THE COMPETITION ONLY IF REQUESTED BY COMPETITOR.

How will the competition be ?

Step 1.

FIRST STEP OF JUDGING WILL BE BASED ON YOUR TECHNICAL POINTS.

IN THE FIRST STEP OF JUDGING  YOUR ENTRY WILL EVALUATED FOR TECHNICAL POINTS BY YOUR CATEGORY JUDGE, WHICH ARE.
GENERAL IMPRESSION, PRESENTATION AND DISPLAY, CREATIVITY, DEGREE OF DIFFICULTY AND EXECUTION OF TECHNIQUES WILL BE THE KEY POINTS THAT JUDGES WILL EVALUATE ABOUT YOUR ENTRY THROUGH YOUR PHOTOS.

ALL FIVE CRITERIA WILL BE CALCULATED MAX 20 POINTS EACH, YOUR TOTAL CAN BE MAX 100 POINTS FROM JUDGE.

Step 2.

SECOND STEP OF JUDGING WILL BE BASED ON WOW FACTOR.

IN THE SECOND STEP, YOUR ENTRY, WILL BE EVALUATE BY THE REST OF THE JUDGES EXCEPT YOUR CATEGORY JUDGE, ACCORDING TO WOW FACTOR.

WOW SCORE, CAN BE MAX 100 POINTS FROM OVERALL IMPRESSION OF THE ENTRY. FINAL SCORES TO FIND OUT THE CAKE STAR OF EACH CATEGORY, WILL BE CALCULATED BY TECHNICAL POINTS + WOW POINTS.

All competitors are welcome to post all their works after the competition. Any posting of the works before judgement will result of disqualifying the competitor. The works of all competitors may be published by CAKE STAR on social media accounts for advertising purposes. Any copyrights etc. for photos will not be given.
